SuperFi Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (βTermsβ) explain how you may use the SuperFi mobile app and website (together, the βPlatformβ).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Who we are
The Platform is operated by SuperFi Finance Ltd (trading as βSuperFiβ), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13645361).

2. Regulatory status and Open Banking
SuperFi is not independently authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Some Open Banking services within the Platform are provided by TrueLayer Ltd (FCA firm reference number 901096).
SuperFi Finance Ltd (FCA firm reference number 903047) acts as an agent of TrueLayer Ltd for the provision of:
β Account Information Services (AISP); and
β Payment Initiation Services (PISP).
When you connect a bank account or initiate a payment using Open Banking, the regulated service is provided under TrueLayerβs permissions, with SuperFi acting as its agent.
If your complaint relates to regulated Open Banking activity, it may be handled under TrueLayerβs regulated complaints process.

3. Eligibility and location restrictions
You must:
β Be 18 years or older;
β Be physically located in the United Kingdom when using the Platform; and
β Use the Platform for lawful personal purposes only.
UK-only access and VPN use
SuperFi is intended for use only by individuals physically located in the UK.
You must:
β Access or use the Platform from outside the UK; or
β Use a VPN, proxy, emulator, automation tool, script or similar technology to mask or alter your location or activity.
Some features (including surveys and certain rewards) are restricted by our partners to UK-based users only. If you access the Platform from outside the UK or use location-masking tools, your account may be restricted or closed and rewards may be withheld, cancelled or reversed.

4. Your account
You may only have one account per natural person.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
We may use automated systems and fraud-detection tools to identify duplicate, linked or suspicious accounts. Where accounts appear connected or fraudulent, we may suspend or close them without notice.
We may request additional verification (including identity or bank verification) where reasonably required for fraud prevention, partner compliance or legal reasons.

5. Our services
SuperFi provides financial wellbeing tools, including:
β Open Banking insights;
β Gift cards and retailer-funded cashback;
β Survey rewards and similar Activities;
β Virtual Coins and promotional features;
β Optional paid features such as Booster.
We may add, remove or modify features at any time.

6. Open Banking services
Connecting accounts
To use Open Banking features, you must give consent through your bankβs authorisation process. Consent may need to be refreshed periodically.
If you withdraw or fail to renew consent, certain features may stop working.
Accuracy and timing
Information provided via Open Banking may not be real-time. We do not control the accuracy or availability of bank-provided data. You should verify information directly with your bank before making financial decisions.
Payment initiation
If you make a payment using Open Banking (including purchasing Booster), the payment is initiated through regulated services provided by TrueLayer, acting via SuperFi as its agent.
Once authorised through your bank, the payment may not be cancellable.
Your bankβs own terms apply to payment execution.

7. Rewards, cashback, coins and expiry
This section governs all promotional rewards and credits available through the Platform.
7.1 Types of rewards
The Platform may offer:
β Retail cashback;
β Survey rewards for completing third-party Activities;
β Virtual Coins;
β Other promotional rewards.
Different reward types are subject to different rules below.

7.2 Retail cashback
Retail cashback is funded by participating retailers and facilitated via third-party partners.
Discount rates, cashback rates and brand availability may change at any time, including without notice. These changes are typically driven by retailers or partners and are outside SuperFiβs control.
You have no entitlement to any particular discount rate, cashback rate, brand or offer for any period of time.
Legal title to retail cashback does not pass to you until successfully withdrawn or applied in accordance with the Platform.

7.3 Survey rewards and Activity limits
Surveys and similar Activities are operated by third parties. SuperFi acts as a facilitator only.
Survey rewards:
β Are conditional upon successful completion and validation;
β May be shown as pending;
β Are not guaranteed.
If a third-party provider:
β Rejects or disqualifies participation;
β Does not pay commission;
β Reverses commission; or
β Flags activity as fraudulent, low quality, rushed, duplicated or non-genuine,
the reward may be withheld, reversed or deducted.
We may apply limits on:
β The number of Activities you may complete; and/or
β The amount of rewards you may earn within any period.
These limits may be applied dynamically and may not always be visible in the Platform. We may adjust, apply or remove such limits at any time without notice, particularly for fraud prevention, operational or partner compliance reasons.
We may apply account-level earning thresholds. Where such thresholds are reached, we may delay withdrawal, require additional verification, suspend further Activity or review your account before permitting further participation.
You have no entitlement to complete a specific number of Activities or to earn rewards at any particular rate.

7.4 Withdrawal and reversals
Survey rewards may only be withdrawn once you reach the minimum withdrawal threshold shown in-app.
We may delay withdrawal while validation, fraud checks or partner confirmation is pending.
If rewards are credited and later reversed or found ineligible, we may:
β Remove or reverse the reward;
β Deduct the amount from future rewards;
β Suspend or close your account.
Our decisions regarding reward eligibility, reversal and suspension are final, except where prohibited by law.

7.5 Virtual Coins
Coins:
β Have no monetary value;
β Cannot be purchased;
β Cannot be transferred;
β Cannot be exchanged for cash.
Coins may be used in promotional features such as Spin the Wheel.
Spin the Wheel and similar features are free promotional features and do not constitute gambling. Outcomes may be random. We do not guarantee that you will win anything.

7.6 Expiry rules
Unless stated otherwise in-app:
β Retail cashback and survey rewards expire if not withdrawn or used within 12 months of becoming available for withdrawal;
β Coins expire if you do not log in for 3 months;
β All unwithdrawn rewards and Coins expire immediately upon account closure.
Expired rewards or Coins cannot be reinstated.

7.7 Nature of rewards
Cashback, survey rewards and Coins:
β Do not constitute a bank account, payment account, deposit or electronic money;
β Are not safeguarded client funds;
β Represent conditional promotional amounts subject to these Terms.
SuperFi does not hold client money on your behalf.

8. Booster (optional paid feature)
Booster is an optional annual paid feature providing enhanced discounts on selected brands.
Payment
Booster is purchased via Open Banking as a one-off annual payment. It does not auto-renew.
Use and cancellation
By purchasing Booster, you request immediate access to the service.
If you have not used Booster at all, you may request cancellation within 14 days.
Once Booster has been used, no refund is available.
Changes and discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, replace or discontinue Booster at any time.
If we discontinue Booster during your paid term, we will provide a pro-rata refund for the unused portion.
You have no entitlement to any particular brand, discount rate or offer.
If you initiate an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account and recover associated losses.

9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account immediately if we reasonably believe you have:
β Breached these Terms;
β Used multiple or linked accounts;
β Engaged in fraud, automation or manipulation;
β Used VPNs or accessed from outside the UK;
β Initiated unjustified payment disputes;
β Put the Platform or partners at risk;
β Required closure to comply with law, regulation or sanctions.

10. No advice
SuperFi provides general information only. We do not provide financial, legal or investment advice.
You are responsible for decisions made using the Platform.

11. Availability and events outside our control
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of banks, retailers, survey partners, Open Banking providers, telecommunications networks or third-party platforms.

12. Liability
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of:
β Β£250; or
β The total amount you have paid to SuperFi in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or business losses.
If defective digital content we supply damages your device due to our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you.

13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are material, we will provide notice in-app or by email.
Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by English law.
If you live in England or Wales, claims will be heard in England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
